Deputy defense chief hails incoming army rabbi as ‘worthy’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDeputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan praises Eisenkot for his decision to stand by the appointment of Karim as the army’s chief rabbi.
“There is no doubt that this is a very worthy appointment,” says Ben-Dahan. “I am certain that Rabbi Karim, as military chief rabbi, will learn to connect with all male and female IDF soldiers, of all stripes, and will be a educational figure and leader.”
