Ex-Likud MK throws support behind former party

Former Likud MK Gideon Sa’ar, who retired last year from politics, condemns the left-wing parties for their willingness to make territorial concessions to the Palestinians, and urges voters to reelect Likud.

“We cannot allow the left renew the efforts to make concessions on the heart of the land of Israel — Judea and Samaria,” he writes on Facebook, using the biblical term for the West Bank. “Concessions that will harm the security of Israel, and will threaten the population concentrated in central Israel — in the coastal region and Jerusalem.”

When Likud came to power, “the dangerous process of withdrawals and concessions stopped,” Sa’ar says.
