The Israeli strike reported in Gaza City a short while ago was the result of a misfired mortar, according to a security source.
Reservist troops had fired the mortar on the outskirts of Gaza City, and it deviated by some four kilometers and struck on the Hamas side of the ceasefire line, the source says.
Palestinian media gives a revised preliminary toll of 11 wounded in the strike, citing medical sources. Earlier, it was claimed that at least one person was killed.
