GHF says its aid distribution continued Thursday despite reported halt

Despite reports of an Israeli decision to halt the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza amid concerns of Hamas diverting the supplies, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation continued its distribution today, a spokesperson tells The Times of Israel.

GHF’s aid makes up about half of the assistance entering Gaza each day, with the other half belonging largely to UN-backed organizations. It’s unclear if that latter half was halted, amid allegations that the UN aid has been more prone to looting. A UN spokesperson doesn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
