The High Court of Justice takes up petitions against the government’s decision on Monday to shutter Army Radio and says a hearing will be held on the matter by the end of January 2026, due to the government’s intention to fully close the station down by March 1.

Supreme Court President Isaac Amit orders the various parties to file their positions on the matter.

Amit adds by way of disclosure that his daughter and one of his legal advisers did their military service in Army Radio, but says they finished their service more than a decade ago.
