IDF allows opening of workplaces, preschools that are near bomb shelters

The IDF says it is lowering the alertness level for Gaza-area civilians.

In a statement from the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the army says “non-essential work” is now permitted, as long as it takes place close to a bomb shelter, and kindergartens and preschools that possess a bomb shelter on their premises are allowed to open.

Residents of the area are no longer required to remain in rocket-proof areas, the statement says.
