IDF conducting drill to test reservist call-up response time

The IDF is conducting a reservist call-up drill this morning, during which reserve soldiers in several units will receive phone calls and text messages to test their response times.
A very limited number of the reservists will need to actually show up to their units as part of the exercise. The vast majority will not be required to show up for duty.
The IDF says the drill was pre-planned. The military routinely checks reservist response times.
