Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF confirms that it has begun striking Hezbollah targets across Lebanon after the Iran-backed terror group fired several rockets at northern Israel earlier tonight.
The terror group said that it had launched the strikes in retaliation for the killing of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Confirming that Hezbollah was indeed behind the attack, the IDF said it “will not allow the organization to pose a threat to the State of Israel and harm the residents of the north.”
“The terrorist organization Hezbollah is destroying the state of Lebanon, responsibility for the escalation lies with it,” the military says, vowing to “respond forcefully” to the attack.
