Israel and Honduras sign MOU to deepen defense cooperation

Israel and Honduras have signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen defense cooperation between the two nations, Israel’s Defense Ministry announces.
In a statement, the Defense Ministry says that Defense Minister Israel Katz and Honduran Defense Minister Enrique Rodríguez Burchard signed the MOU during a meeting in Israel alongside senior officials from the defense ministries of both countries.
“The MOU signed today constitutes a significant milestone in strengthening defense relations between the two countries and establishes a framework for long-term cooperation based on shared interests and values,” the statement says.
“The Honduran delegation received a briefing on the security and operational challenges Israel has faced in recent years, including key lessons from the multifront war and from contending with evolving and emerging threats in the region,” the ministry adds.
