Israeli officials say US and France working on Lebanon truce proposals, no progress so far

The United States and France are currently working on ceasefire proposals to resolve the escalating fighting in Lebanon linked to the war in Gaza, three Israeli sources say, adding that no significant progress has been made so far.

The American proposal includes a truce in the north to allow for a diplomatic solution, one of the officials says.
