Jewish groups decry Trump use of Nazi analogy
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe ADL has criticized President-elect Donald Trump’s comparison of the leak of a dossier on Russian intelligence against him to Nazi Germany, saying it is inappropriate.
“The President-Elect’s use of Nazi Germany to make a political analogy is not only an inappropriate comparison on the merits, but it also coarsens our discourse and diminishes the horror of the Holocaust,” ADL head Jonathan Greenblatt says in a statement.
The AJC (formerly known as the American Jewish Committee) also slams the remark.
We regret @realDonaldTrump’s use of Nazi Germany regarding the media – an inappropriate comparison that diminishes the horrors of that time.
