Likud had charged that the V15 group, which is campaigning against Netanyahu, was linked to Isaac Herzog’s Zionist Union. Herzog rejected the allegations, as did V15.

On Thursday, the Likud party withdrew its petition with the Jerusalem District Court, after party lawmakers admitted there was insufficient evidence, but the petition with the elections committee still stood, until was rejected on Sunday.
The committee says the accusations are “patently false,” and orders the party to pay NIS 48,000 ($12,500) in compensation, according to the Ynet news website.
