London neo-Nazi rally won’t go through Golders Green
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLONDON — British police announce that a neo-Nazi rally scheduled to take place on July 4 attacking the “Jewification” of London will not take place in Golders Green, the heart of Jewish North London.
The rally will take place in an as yet unspecified area of central London. Police will still patrol Golders Green on Saturday.
A cross-communal gathering of members of various ethnic groups united in opposition to the neo-Nazis is still due to take place a day before the rally, on Friday, July 3, under the banner of Golders Green Together. With church groups, local Muslims and a number of politicians scheduled to participate, activists aim to cover the area in green and gold banners.
