French President Emmanuel Macron voices full support for the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire but says he is concerned that it “may already be undermined by ongoing military operations,” which he does not specify.

“I call for the safety of civilians on both sides of the border between Lebanon and Israel,” he writes on X. “Hezbollah must lay down its arms. Israel must respect Lebanese sovereignty and end the war.”

A 10-day ceasefire between Israel and the Hezbollah terror group in Lebanon took effect at midnight local time.
