“The decision is great news,” she writes.

At a cabinet meeting on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel would “begin practical steps in establishing the community of Ramat Trump on the Golan Heights, Israel’s sovereignty over which was recognized by President Trump.”

The town is a rebranding of an existing neighborhood of the town of Kela Alon, currently home to about a dozen people in a handful of mobile homes.
