Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant will hold an assessment with security officials in the next hour after overnight strikes killed three top Islamic Jihad leaders and 10 others in Gaza.
Israel is girding for a response from Gaza terror groups.
Netanyahu will also hold a meeting tomorrow with opposition leader Yair Lapid to brief him on the situation. Lapid has offered the government his support for the strikes.
Netanyahu has not yet moved to convene the high-level security cabinet, with the attorney general saying the current situation did not oblige him to do so.
