Netanyahu lawyer reportedly asked Justice Minister for help in Bezeq case
One of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s lawyers asked Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to help obtain documents he hopes will help clear the premier in one of the corruption cases against him, according to a Channel 12 news report.
Navot Tel-Tzur approached Shaked asking she make the documents pertaining to Netanyahu’s dealings with former Bezeq owner Shaul Elovitch available to him immediately, the report says.
Attorney-General Avihai Mandelblit is expected to announce in the coming days whether he will charge the prime minister with corruption.
