From New Gaza honcho won’t be tweeting, terror group says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Hamas terror group announces that its new leader in Gaza, convicted murderer Yahya Sinwar, does not have any social media accounts.
“We affirm that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar does not have any accounts on Twitter or any other social media sites,” Hamas says in a statement posted on its official website.
“We warn against circulating anything that is published through these fraudulent accounts,” the statement adds.
Since his election victory was announced on Monday, one Twitter account claiming to be Sinwar was opened and has gained nearly 1,200 followers, including many journalists.
