New Hope won’t join Netanyahu government, opposes direct PM elections — reports

Sources in Gideon Sa’ar’s New Hope party are quoted by several media outlets as saying they will not join a government headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, appearing to continue to deny the incumbent premier an obvious path to a government.

New Hope sources also say they will not join Yamina chief Naftali Bennett in backing Netanyahu’s push for direct elections for prime minister.
