New NIS 200 bill featuring Alterman coming soon

A new NIS 200 shekel bill will enter circulation in a week, Bank of Israel Governor Karnit Flug says.

The new bills utilize advanced anti-forgery technology and are also accessible to blind persons, Flug says.

The new bill features Nathan Alterman, a towering giant of modern Hebrew poetry.
