Number of Israelis who left county for long-term in 2016 lowest in 10 years

The Central Bureau of Statistics releases findings showing that the number of Israelis who left the country for a long-term stay in 2016 was the lowest in over a decade.

Additionally, the number of Israelis who returned from long-term stays abroad was the highest in four years.

However, there was still a net negative of 6,300 leaving the country in 2016 adding to the over 560,000 Israelis residing abroad, according to the CBS.
