Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations is currently back to its original slot on Friday, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel, and as of now the premier is scheduled to fly home after the Jewish Sabbath.
It had been shifted to Thursday, but Netanyahu’s flight has now been delayed till Thursday amid intensified fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
However, the chances that the entire trip is canceled are “50-50,” says the official.
Netanyahu’s speech will mostly focus on the Iranian threat, the official says.
