PA security thwarts ‘over 100 stabbings’

The Palestinian Authority security services have thwarted dozens of stabbings by young Palestinian men and women seeking to kill Jewish Israelis, The Times of Israel has learned.

The Palestinians say more than 100 attacks have been foiled since October 1.

The attacks were at various stages of planning. In many cases, teenagers had written on their Facebook pages that they intended to carry out attacks against Jews and were willing to die in the process.

The security services located them through social media operations and then arrested or detained them, or told their families to ensure they didn’t carry out an attack.
