Palestinian flag-waving fan booted from UK stadium
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA fan of the English Premier League soccer club Queens Park Rangers football club was thrown out of the White Hart Lane stadium Sunday after waving a Palestinian flag during a match with Tottenham Hotspur.
In a video of the incident, the man can be seen as he is escorted out of the stadium by security personnel, as the Spurs’ crowd — famous for their large Jewish following — chanted slogans against him.
