Palestinian suspect caught, detained after allegedly attacking settler in the West Bank

A Palestinian suspect who allegedly attacked a settler near the West Bank town of Beit Ummar earlier was detained, the military and Defense Ministry say.
The suspect had driven his car into a farm near the settlement of Karmei Zur, and physically assaulted a settler, police said. Afterward, the suspect tried to ram the settler with his car before fleeing the scene, according to the police.
A short while ago, Defense Ministry security guards at the Metzadot Yehuda Crossing, along with IDF troops in the area, detained the suspect and took him for further questioning, the military says.
