Palestinian would-be stabber moved from jail to hospital
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleYasmin Zaru, who attempted to stab a Border Police officer in Hebron earlier this month, has been taken from jail to an Israeli hospital for treatment, according to an Israel Prison Service spokesperson.
On February 13, the 21-year-old tried to stab the officer near the Tomb of the Patriarchs, but was shot in the lower body before she could injure him.
While in jail, her wounds became infected, which prompted the transfer to a hospital for further care, according to Palestinian media.
