Police chief says no warning came before ramming
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael Police chief Roni Alsheich says no warning was received before the ramming attack in Jerusalem in which four people were reportedly killed and therefore police could not have prevented it.
Alsheich says the driver sought a high victim count and had driven around the area in Armon Hanatziv to find a large group of people.
“Other than the fact that the attacker was from East Jerusalem, I can’t share any details in order to prevent compromising [the investigation],” he says.
