Police limit Temple Mount access to prevent rioting
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJerusalem police say they will limit the entrance of Muslim worshippers to the holy sites on the Temple Mount on Friday.
Men under 50 will not be granted access to the site.
Police say the decision comes due to information that Palestinian groups are attempting to organize mass protests, including violence, in the holy site to protest Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.
Police also plan to deploy in force throughout the Old City and East Jerusalem Friday.
