Police officer attacked in Jerusalem
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA border policeman is being treated after being attacked during a routine security check at Damascus Gate outside Jerusalem’s Old City, police say.
The suspect attacked the cop after refusing to show identification, according to a statement.
Police say no weapon was used. The suspect was arrested and an investigation was launched.
The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
