Six in 10 Israelis don’t consider Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu trustworthy, according to a poll by Channel 12.
The poll finds that 60% of Israelis don’t find the premier trustworthy, versus 38% who do.
By contrast, most respondents (54%) see his leading rival, Gadi Eisenkot, as trustworthy, while 29% do not.
Former prime minister Naftali Bennett, who is also running to unseat Netanyahu, is seen as untrustworthy by 53% of respondents, versus 41% who do trust him.
The poll also finds that nearly two-thirds of Israelis say the Netanyahu coalition’s recent legislative blitz, including bills aimed at allowing Haredi men to continue avoiding military conscription, will influence their vote.
The outlet does not appear to say how many Israelis were polled, or a margin of error.
