The Palestinian Red Crescent says 38 Palestinians have been hurt in clashes with Israeli troops in the West Bank town of Beita and nearby Bayt Dajan.

The emergency service says two 13-year-olds were hit by rubber-tipped bullets in the foot, while the rest suffered light injuries from tear gas.

Clashes were also reported near the West Bank town of Kafr Qaddum.

Palestinians regularly clash with Israel Defense Forces soldiers on Friday afternoons.
