Rivlin urges Hamas to be ‘humane’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePresident Reuven Rivlin says during a tour of Gaza periphery communities that Hamas should release Avraham Mengistu out of humane considerations.
“From the information we have it arises that Mengistu is held by Hamas. We will continue to make every effort to end this affair as soon as we can,” Rivlin says. “This is a case with humane implications and we expect the persons holding him to act appropriately and return him in good health.”
