Romney to take aim at ‘phony’ Trump

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will launch an all-out assault on current party front-runner Donald Trump in a speech later today, the Politico website says.

According to the report, Romney will slam Trump as “a phony” and “a fraud” who is “playing the American public for suckers.”

In a major speech at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Romney will reportedly warn that the bullish billionaire’s “promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University.” He will also sound the alarm that “a Trump nomination enables” the likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to win in November.
