Saudi Arabia condemns yesterday’s Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

Saudi Arabia issues a condemnation of Israel’s latest airstrikes in Gaza that the IDF says came in response to Hamas operatives opening fire on its troops yesterday.
Twenty-five children were reportedly killed in the strikes, including three young children from the same family.
Further highlighting that a normalization deal between the two countries appears to be far off, the Saudi foreign ministry statement blasts “the Israeli occupation’s continued flagrant violations in the region.”
The statement also pans Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit yesterday to the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, where IDF troops have remained in several key points, which it says is necessary to secure Israel’s borders.
