Settlers said to shoot Palestinians, rob homes, commit arson in pair of Ramallah-area attacks
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTwo young men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds this afternoon after settlers attacked the Palestinian compound of Abu Hamam, on the outskirts of the Ramallah-area town of al-Mughayyir, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
One young woman from the compound, interviewed by the Hamas-affiliated Quds News Network at the hospital in al-Mughayyir, says a settler named Moshe punched her in the face, knocked her down and kicked her, with her small daughter by her side.
“They were beating us and shooting us,” she says. “I hid my father behind me. I said, let them beat me and not him.”
In separate footage she filmed from the compound, the same woman says the settlers robbed homes there.
“They left nothing,” she says. “But thank God, we’re okay.”

Meanwhile, Palestinian media publishes footage, taken in the nearby Abu Falah village, of at least one agricultural structure in flames. The fire is alleged to have been set by settlers. No injuries are reported.
