Smotrich: ‘There will be Jewish settlements in Gaza’

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich vows “there will be Jewish settlements in Gaza” during an address at a Simhat Torah event in the southern border city of Sderot.

The assertion comes days after a ceasefire deal was reached with Hamas in which IDF troops have withdrawn from parts of the Gaza Strip that were conquered during the war.

Smotrich charges that without settlements, Israel has no security.

“So, we have patience, but we have determination, and faith, and with God’s help, we will continue the series of victories, and the big miracles,” he says.
