Thai death toll in Israel from Gaza war reaches 28
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFour more Thai nationals have died in the conflict between Israel and Palestinian terror group Hamas, bringing the country’s death toll to 28, CNN reports.
About 30,000 Thais are working in Israel, mostly in the agriculture sector, according to the kingdom’s labor ministry. A number have been evacuated.
The Thai Foreign Ministry says 17 nationals are now believed to be held hostage by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
