US determined to retaliate against Islamic State for Kabul attack: general
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe head of US Central Command vows retaliation for the deadly attack at Kabul airport he blames on “two suicide bombers assessed to have been ISIS fighters.”
“We are working very hard right now to determine attribution, to determine who is associated with this cowardly attack, and we’re prepared to take action against them,” says General Kenneth McKenzie.
He adds that US forces are “prepared and ready to defend against” possible further IS attacks.
