Zionist Union slams Lapid criticism
Zionist Union responds to Lapid’s criticism against Herzog calling him “pathetic.”
In a statement, the party says: “In his pathetic attempt to ape Netanyahu, Yair Lapid is trying to incite now against the opposition leader. Lapid, as usual, was not in the plenum during the speech and is trying to divert attention from this by incitement.”
“Lapid thinks that because he is permanently inciting against the ultra-Orthodox community, inciting against the Arab community, he can say something meaningful about democracy. Well, no. It’s the easiest thing to throw a burning match and walk away. Lapid must stop badmouthing and join hands with us to replace Netanyahu,” the party says in a statement.
