Two men were killed in separate vehicular crashes Sunday, during the Rosh Hashanah holiday.

A motorcycle rider was killed in north Tel Aviv. The man, in his 40s, crashed in an apparently self-inflicted accident. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and died several hours later.

Police were investigating the cause of the accident.

A second man was killed and two others injured when their vehicle overturned on the Route 6 highway near the Sorek Interchange.

The victim was also in his 40s.

Two others who were with him in the vehicle at the time were taken to hospital in moderate condition.

The cause of that crash was also not immediately clear and police were investigating.
