Young instructor at trampoline park seriously hurt after falling 8 meters
Eyewitnesses and medics say young woman fell onto hard surface while connected to zipline harness; police launch investigation
An 18-year-old girl working at an indoor trampoline and amusement park in the central city of Rishon Lezion was hospitalized in serious condition Saturday after falling from a height of eight meters.
Medics said the young woman was injured at the iJump park, apparently while connected to a zipline harness.
An eyewitness told Channel 12 news that the instructor fell onto a hard surface. “We heard a boom and she collapsed, and they immediately evacuated all the customers,” the eyewitness said.
She was taken by the Magen David Adom ambulance service to the Tel Hashomer hospital in Ramat Gan with injuries to her head and upper body.
The hospital said she was being treated at its trauma ward and was placed on artificial respiration.
Police said officers had launched an investigation into the incident.
