Driver apparently loses control after reaching for can near pedals

A minibus carrying members of the IDF’s military police flipped over onto its side on Route 60, just south of Jerusalem, on Saturday.
Fifteen soldiers were injured in the accident: 14 of them lightly, and one soldier was moderately injured and taken to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem for treatment.
Police investigators suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle after reaching for a can that had fallen near the pedals, and swerved off the shoulder and into a ditch alongside the road.
The driver will be taken in for questioning following his release from hospital.
