Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces flared up near Hebron on Tuesday, having been raging more widely for the past several days. Dozens of Palestinian protesters rioted and threw rocks at security forces in the village of al-Aroub.

Three Palestinians were lightly injured by teargas fired by Israeli security forces, Channel 10 reported.

In the village of al-Fawar, south of Hebron, a soldier was lightly injured by a rock thrown at his vehicle. He was taken to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba for treatment of a possible broken hand.

Palestinians also assaulted a Border Police patrol car in the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem, and in a separate incident stones were thrown at an Israeli bus west of Ramallah.
