Previously unaired bodycam footage from a Hamas terrorist rampaging through southern Israel on October 7 was broadcast by CNN on Wednesday, showing him crossing the two Gaza border fences, killing an IDF soldier, filming himself with the body in celebration, and gleefully celebrating the sight of dead civilians on the road before he is shot dead at the gates of a military base.

The video, handed to the US network by the Israel Defense Forces, is an unedited 100-minute clip which CNN then edited, saying it had geolocated and matched portions of it to confirm it lines up with the timeline indicated by other footage from the morning of the unprecedented onslaught.

The network also aired a clip showing Hamas tunnels filled with supplies before the attack, in separate footage that wasn’t necessarily filmed by the same person.

The Hamas gunman’s longer video begins with the sound of other terrorists setting off an explosion at the border fence early on the Saturday morning of the murderous assault, in which some 3,000 terrorists took over entire communities and military bases. They killed some 1,200 people, mostly civilians butchered in their homes and at an outdoor music festival, and kidnapped over 240 to the Gaza Strip.

The gunmen are then seen driving through the border fences separating the Strip and Israel, with one yelling at the driver to “Go right, go right,” amid chants of “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest).

The roads are seen almost empty, early on Shabbat morning as Israel was celebrating the Jewish festival of Simhat Torah.

Gunmen carrying rifles and rocket-propelled grenades are then seen gathering several minutes later, with the terrorist wielding the body camera firing his first shots toward Israeli homes in the distance.

The CNN-edited footage then cuts to the squad of terrorists advancing across an open field toward Kibbutz Kissufim, where they spot and shoot at an Israeli soldier, who is dead on the ground by the time the gunmen reach him.

The group takes a video selfie, cheering in celebration, and the terrorist takes the soldier’s rifle.

The gunman later points the camera at himself, proudly says his name and adds he is a 24-year-old father. The terrorist says that he killed two soldiers, and prays to God for victory and “well-deserved martyrdom.”

The footage then cuts to the group riding motorbikes on empty roads.

At one point, the gunman cheers as he sees bodies on the road near cars at the same scene shown by separate dashcam footage from October 7, showing a driver fleeing the nearby Supernova music festival being repeatedly shot and almost certainly killed while passing a group of terrorists.

Over 260 partygoers were murdered at the outdoor rave near Kibbutz Re’im, and many others were taken captive.

The final portion of the newly published footage shows the terror squad arriving at the nearby Re’im military base.

As the gunman approaches the main gate and shoots at the base, he screams, evidently shot by a soldier, and falls to the ground as his breathing becomes shallow. The clip then ends, though it would be many hours, even days, before the horrific attack came to an end as well.
