13 die in Egyptian army operation on Gaza border
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThirteen people are killed in a ground operation by the Egyptian military in the area of the divided town of Rafah, which straddles the Gaza-Egypt border, and the nearby Sinai towns of Sheikh Zuweid and al-Arish.
Military operations of this nature have been carried out almost daily in recent weeks, the Walla website says.
The report comes on the heels of an IDF announcement that the Israel-Gaza crossing of Kerem Shalom, some seven kilometers from Rafah, has been closed for “operational considerations.”
