3 Palestinians reported shot as West Bank settlers open fire, steal livestock

Three people were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition, after being hit by settler gunfire in the Palestinian town of Mukhmas in the central West Bank this afternoon, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society says.

The Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem Governorate, which includes Mukhmas, says the settlers attacked homes on the outskirts of the town while accompanied by IDF soldiers, and stole dozens of animals from farms and barns in the area.

The military does not immediately comment, and there are no reports of arrests of either Israelis or Palestinians.

The PA governorate says a total of four people were wounded in the settler attack. WAFA, the PA’s official news agency, says these consisted of the three hit by gunfire and a fourth person who was beat by Israeli troops.
