7 Palestinians, 1 Israeli police officer hurt in today’s clashes; Gazan killed

Since the morning, seven Palestinians were wounded in altercations with IDF soldiers and Border Police officers. Six were lightly hurt at several rioting focal points, and one man was badly wounded when he was shot after hurling a Molotov cocktail at an IDF post near Bir Zeit, a West Bank Palestinian city.

The military and police used riot dispersal means including tear gas, water cannons, and small-caliber bullets.

One police officer was lightly wounded in the Old City when he was hit in the face by a rock.

Separately, in the Gaza Strip, Palestinians say a man was killed after coming near the border fence and ignoring soldiers’ calls for him to stop.
