Abbas: We won’t abide by agreements until Israel does

Mahmoud Abbas tells the UN that the Palestinian Authority will no longer abide by agreements signed with Israel until Israel is prepared to do the same, and that the Jewish state must “resume its responsibilities as an occupying power.”

“So long as Israel refuses to commit to the agreements signed with us, cease settlement construction and release prisoners, Israel has left us no choice but to insist that we will not remain the only ones committed to these agreements,” Abbas says.
