AG to look into recent Shin Bet detentions of leftists at Israeli border
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Attorney General’s Office announces that it will be looking into the recent slew of Shin Bet detentions and interrogations of Israelis and foreigners upon their entry into the Jewish state.
The announcement reported by the Haaretz daily follows the public disclosure by left-wing authors and activists including Simone Zimmerman, Moriel Rothman-Zecher, and Peter Beinart, who said they were asked about their political views and urged to disclose their connections with Palestinians.
