Appointment of next IDF chief of staff staff delayed — report
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWhile Avigdor Liberman was planning on submitting the names of his two candidates to the Goldberg Committee responsible for vetting senior appointees, the head of the body has alerted the defense minister to expect a delay in the process.
According to Hadashot news, the committee cannot currently function due to a pair of High Court appeals against two members over their ties with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as other alleged conflicts of interest.
